The first thing you will notice is that the new XT-PLUS version has a 7" LCD Touchscreen on the front of the chassis. Once set up, the LCD screen can display much more information than any VFD. The issue lies with the bezel that attached to the front of the CD tray. LG and Samsung drives currently fit, but Pioneer drives do not. Please check before buying an optical drive.
